1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Travatu. By using the service you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2 Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

3 Acceptable Use

When using Travatu you agree not to:

• Post unlawful, harmful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its security.
• Use the service to send spam or for unauthorised commercial purposes.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content without permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4 User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create on Travatu (such as trip boards, reviews, photos and messages). By posting content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content as needed to operate and promote the service.

You are responsible for the content you post and must have the rights to share it. We may remove content that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

5 Trips, Bookings & Affiliate Links

• Travatu helps you discover and plan trips; it is a planning tool, not a travel agent.
• Bookings made via third parties (e.g. Trip.com, Booking.com, Skyscanner) are subject to those providers’ own terms.
• Travatu may earn affiliate commission on bookings made through links in the app or website. This never changes the price you pay.
• We are not responsible for the products, services, prices or availability offered by third parties.

6 Intellectual Property

The Travatu name, logo, design, and software are owned by Travatu and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works from the service without our prior written permission.

7 Service Availability

We aim to keep Travatu available and working, but we provide the service "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will always be accurate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travatu will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the service, or for losses caused by third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.

9 Privacy

Your use of Travatu is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

10 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of Travatu after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
